Beauty services are on the up!

At its most exciting time of development, Strip is opening its doors to franchisees. The right individuals will be able to join them in rolling out luxurious Strip boutiques across the UK. Projected figures for the franchise show that franchisees should be more than capable of turning over 1million pounds in their first three years of trading.

The beauty industry was up 7% overall last year with some specialist beauty-only services up by as much as 82% according to The Beauty Industry Survey. The most popular specialist beauty services requested by 85% of clients are bikini line wax, half leg wax, full leg wax and under arm wax. This shows that there is a significant opportunity for Strip to capitalize on a trend towards a wax only service as demand grows nationally. “You may wish to consider introducing some of these into your salon in 2008 if you don’t offer them already,” recommends The Beauty Industry Survey. Existing salons are also able to re-brand under the Strip name and take advantage of their established systems and exclusive product ranges including the Lycon wax which is virtually pain free. The premium Lycon range of waxing products have been hugely successful in the UK with celebrities such as Victoria Beckham, Minnie Driver and Sienna Miller. The range includes Chocolate Hazelnut, SoBerry Delicious, Rosette, Lavender, Active Gold and Manifico (for men) which all leave your skin smooth and smelling delicious. A real treat for clients! Franchisees will also stock fabulous designer lingerie and a range of gift products at discounted rates which aid in creating additional turnover. "This funky new waxing bar looks like a rock star's bedroom and sells sexy undies upstairs; in discreet treatment rooms downstairs is an array of exotic-smelling hot waxes in chocolate, rose and lavender," commented Tatler magazine. The Franchise has been set up by expert franchise consultant Mike Gratwick from Franchise Your Business. “This is an extremely unique and exciting opportunity that I believe will perform well with the right franchisees,” comments Mike. The Initial Strip Franchise Fee is just £15,000 and the franchisee will require approximately £60k to fit out a new 900 square foot boutique. This includes your initial training, launch campaign, legal costs, opening stock, till system/licence, shop fitting and office set up. Costs will be significantly lower for individuals who have an existing salon that requires re-branding.
